I really felt sorry for the hostess. Everything was a flop. She must have made all the food herself, because it definitely didn’t taste like something you would get from a caterer. The cake was just a plain iced sheet cake, with no decorations on it whatsoever. She did have her tables set up nicely though. Little white tablecloths, cute place card holders and some of the most adorable baby shower favors I’ve ever seen. But she definitely shouldn’t consider becoming a party planner. She had no games lined up, no door prizes and no plans of anything to do but watch the mother to be open her gifts. I think the whole thing lasted about an hour and a half. At least we all received adorable keepsake party gifts. We got to keep the picture frame place card holders too.

I’ve ordered everything and it’s all been delivered. I went online and ordered all the party supplies I needed, including an adorable cake topper. I also bought some party favors for the kids and cute little pink gumball machines and filled them with sugarless gum. I have all the decorations for the backyard and even a happy birthday banner. I can’t wait to see her face. She has no idea that we have this planned. She thinks she’s just going to a movie with her friends. But when they get back, this will all be waiting for her.
